Been there, done that, lost money and finally, FINALLY got the Public
Utility Commission to get me my money back when they overbilled my local
service.
I did the independent rep thing too. Went to a meeting at the Wyndham
Anatole in Dallas. Got my "GID" number, whole nine yards. I'd like to see a
copy of a phone bill that's what they claim. They "crammed" mine, which is
adding charges I didn't authorize, and I was never so glad to get back to
southwestern bell in my life.
Took 17 months for them to comply with the PUC because their customer
service is outsourced to friggin India.
If you have money to burn, Excel is the company for you!
