1. User Interface Designer, Client Applications

Responsibilities:

To design and implement features for a web-based application. The right
candidate will generate designs, mock-ups and prototypes for current and
future features and be efficient in getting new designs and changes
implemented. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Generating
HTML and dynamic content (will require using a scripting language like
JSP/ASP). Applying user interface design skills and principles to web
application design. Creating release-quality web development code and
graphics for inclusion in the final product. Working with other Design Team
members, engineering, and product management teams to implement features.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the
fundamentals of user interface design, have experience working through the
entire product life-cycle, and be familiar with user-centered design methods
such as field studies, heuristic evaluations, and usability studies. The
candidate will also have experience working in a multidisciplinary team on a
dynamic web application, be task oriented, and demonstrate effective
communication and documentation skills.

Experience/skills:

3-5 years experience in application or web application design a must. BS/BA
in Design, Human-Computer Interaction or other related experience.

THERE IS LESS EMPHASIS ON THE TECHNICAL FOR THIS POSITION! design skills are
priority BUT semi-proficient in HTML coding. Preferred experience with the
following: JavaScript, CSS, CVS, CGI (or other scripting language).
Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Macromedia HomeSite.
Experience in localization a plus.

user interfaces for both JAVA and web based applications. Generating HTML
and dynamic content (will require using a scripting language like JSP/ASP).
